BPE is a small company with a close team running the expeditions from it's base in Nottinghamshire. We have an experienced expedition management team who have led and organised a wealth of expeditions. We pride ourselves on the expertise of our staff; they are the heart and soul of the company.

Expedition Managers

All our expeditions are co-ordinated by expedition managers who have led expeditions to all areas of the world. They are all highly qualified, are qualified teachers and have worked as outdoor advisors for operating authorities and HM forces.

Operations Managers

We are organised by staff who have had wide and varied careers both in the travel and expedition industry, as well as in project management, law and human resources.

Polar Expedition Leaders

Our polar leaders have a wide variety of experience in polar environments. They have worked for organisations such as Antarctic Logistics and Expeditions and The British Antarctic Survey. They have several years experience leading and guiding groups in both the Arctic and Antarctic.

School Expedition Leaders

All our overseas school leaders are highly qualified and experienced. They all hold qualifications to a higher level than the Summer Mountain Leader Award and they have all led several overseas school expeditions.

Duke of Edinburgh Awards Leaders

All our D of E leaders are nationally approved accredited assessors of the award. They all have appropriate national governing body awards and have been delivering the expedition section of the award for several years.

All our leaders also have remote first aid qualifications and enhanced CRB certificates.
