In addition to our Schools & Youth Groups DofE expedition packages, we also provide Open Walking Expeditions and Open Horseback Expeditions at Gold level.   

The Open Practice Expedition includes 2 days of training, route planning and team building, plus a 3 day expedition.

The Open Qualifying Expedition includes a 1 day of route planning, preparation of aim and team building followed by your 4 day Qualifying Expedition. This expedition will be assessed by an Accredited Assessor.

All Open Expeditions include:

·       Pre-Expedition Briefing, including kit list

·       Group Equipment – tents, stoves and first aid kits

·       DofE-related paperwork

·       Training & supervision from our experienced and qualified leaders

·       Accredited Assessors for Qualifying Expedition

Our 2012 dates are as follows:

·       Open Gold Practice Expedition: 6^th – 10^th April 2012, Dark Peak District

·       Open Gold Qualifying Expedition: 29^th August – 2^nd September 2012, location to be confirmed.
